Exceptional article. I was a roadrunner until moving to Galiano last year as a full time resident and joined a few locals for trail running. I LOVE the beautiful trails and combination trail/road runs we’ve been doing not to mention ALL the other features of this little Paradise Island. Btw….check out our upcoming Walk/Run event on Sunday Sept 25 starting at the North Hall with distances of 1km dash 5km and 10km all in support of raising funds for our treasured Galiano Health Care Centre . On the to do list! Islands and trails are my favorite places to run. I’ve got many options here on the other coast, including trails on islands only accessible by boat, which in my case, is my trusty sea kayak. A new twist on a duathlon.
