Alberta aid station for the ages

Inspiration comes in many ways
1

Welcome to another hilarious episode of Food Fight Friday at the Aid Station brought to you by Run Tri Bike! This week, we're coming to you from the heart of the Sinister 7 Ultra, set in the breathtaking and challenging terrain of Alberta, Canada, specifically Crowsnest Pass. This race is notorious for its rugged beauty and the grueling demands it places on endurance athletes.

In this episode, Adam presents Jason with three potential fuel options, and it's up to Jason to decide which to eat, toss, or carry. Unlike our previous Food Fight Fridays, this isn't about picking the least horrible option. Instead, it's about making the smartest choice to sustain Jason's energy levels and help him power through the race, all while considering the unique challenge of running in bear country!

The three foods on the menu are:

T-bone steak: Packed with protein and iron, this option is a hearty choice. But how practical is it for an ultra-marathoner on the go?

Pancake breakfast with eggs and sausage: A classic breakfast staple that offers a balance of carbohydrates, protein, and fats. Is this the perfect aid station meal or a recipe for disaster on the trails?

Grilled corn on the cob with butter: A lighter option that's easy to eat on the run, but does it provide enough fuel for the demanding Sinister 7 course?

As Jason weighs his options, he must consider not only how these foods will fuel his journey from aid station to aid station but also how they might help in deterring any curious bears he might encounter on the trail. It's a mix of strategy, nutrition, and a bit of wilderness survival!

Tune in to find out which food Jason decides to eat, which one he'll toss, and which one he'll carry. This episode is packed with laughter as Jason navigates these unconventional food choices.

Food Fight Friday
Jason Bahamundi and Adam Lee exchange laughs and food choices in "Food Fight Friday at the Aid Station". One person is given three food choices they would come across at an aid station and they have to decide which they'd eat, which they'd toss, and which they'd carry along the run.
It's fun and lighthearted, a weekend laugh and few moments of brevity.
